I love celebrating events with the children in class and my own children at home. The cultural celebrations of the UK such as Mothers' Day, Halloween and Easter. It also adds in the main children's charity days of Comic Relief and Children in Need. There are religious days from the major religions of Buddhism, Sikhism, Islam and Judaism. Many of the Christian religious days have become celebrations for a secular society and so are embedded within the calendar. Print it out and put it on the fridge, the pinboard or stick it into your teacher diary.
